It’s often a wonder why there is an abundance of resources all around the world, but only a few have access to it. Consider who tends to enjoy luxuries as traveling to exotic locations and having a personal driver. Who can stay in a castle in Scotland or a high-rise in Shanghai – wealthy people right?
Well, that’s the thing – this is what the “sharing-economy” is for. We’re allowing more people to enjoy these things with the advent of Uber, AirBnb & other marketplaces like this. Not only that, but we’re spreading the wealth, spreading the resources so – making them more efficient and not wasting them. This is why we’re seeing such growth in this new economy. The days where you had to be already wealthy to write a book, to fund a project, to make music are over, now that collaborative companies have been created.
At Flystro, that’s where we are too. Not everyone can afford to go out buy a super expensive drone, get certification, learn how to fly out with, you know – injuring your family and friends. So only the cool couples get a drone-shot aerial of their crew and all their beautiful clothes right? No way. It shouldn’t be like that. Flystro is part of a host of companies that are breaking that barrier down. We want to make it possible for anyone to get these ever-elusive bird’s eye view shots from above. You don’t have to know anyone either – we do the groundwork, getting you a certified and talented pilot and it’s wildly cheaper than going through any of that yourself.
This might be the future. With dwindling resources, whatever companies or individuals can do to spread it rather than keep in the hands of a few, is a good thing. Let us know what you think of the growing sharing economy & what would be something that you want access to?
